Why is there Evil and Suffering?
God gave us free will, therefore some will decide not to be good (we are not robots)
Because of the sin of Adam and Eve, God cursed the Earth, so now we have:
- Decay
- Thorns
- Storms
- Earthquakes
- Animals that eat meat
Notes:
The “great truths” of the Bible are summarized: God created the heavens and the earth as a home for people with whom He could have fellowship with. Our sin has separated us from God, but He has made a way of restoration, namely, to trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Acts 2:21)
