Notes:

Now let’s look at the steps required to make life. We must go from an early atmosphere to amino acids, proteins, DNA, and finally living cells.

How many of the steps are proven by experiment? Can we go into the lab and heat some chemicals and have little living things come running out of the test tube? Yes it is true that you can synthesize some amino acids in the lab, but what about the overall organism. If you had some amino acids, will these combine to for proteins and so on?

In fact, the spontaneous formation of life is a collection “show-stoppers.”
