Specifically, I would like to talk about fossils and their relevance to the Creation / Evolution debate. They provide a tangible record of organisms that lived in the past, and they offer a glimpse into a bygone time. At this time, I would like us to examine the fossil display on the table, handle the fossils, play with them, and maybe even drop one or two of them. Then I would like to talk about how they are formed, the a very important issue of gaps, or should I say, missing transitional forms in the fossil record. Next, I would like to talk about the geologic column, a little bit about human origins, since it really requires an entire night in itself. Finally, I would like to summarize what we have learned tonight.
