Lackawanna coal mine: anthracite, 3 veins of coal, used for home heating, a high quality coal, produces low soot amounts
Long Island: formed when the last glacier from the Noah’s flood Ice age came the farthest south and left a moraine
Hudson Canyon: As the flood waters receded canyon forming occurred creating the Hudson Canyon; running north/south near the border of NY then into the atlantic ocean going south east.
